The Camarillo Health Care District joins the community in thanking the many first responders and organizations who helped fight the Mountain Fire. Many families are facing tremendous losses, and our thoughts are with those impacted. Local Resources
The City of Camarillo is working hand-in-hand with the Ventura County Sheriff's Office and Fire Department, as well as recovery agencies and organizations. For the latest updates, visit the city's website.
Local Assistance Center
On Nov. 14, the County of Ventura and the City of Camarillo opened a Local Assistance Center at the Ventura County Office of Education Conference Center at 5100 Adolfo Road in Camarillo. The Local Assistance Center helps residents as they begin their recovery process from the fire. It's open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The hours are subject to change depending on demand. The center is staffed by a wide array of County, City and State agencies, as well as nonprofit organizations. Bilingual staff will be available to provide assistance. - Tax relief and business/employee assistance
- Debris removal and housing/rental assistance
- Vital records and property assessments
- Public assistance and crisis intervention
- Basic needs and health care services
Power Outages
Continuing power outages in Camarillo are mostly due to fire damage, according to the City's website. Southern California Edison has been assessing damage and restoring power when safe. Time estimates for restoration of service may not yet be available in some areas. Check for outage status in your neighborhood on Edison's site.
